Clinical supervision

I am a board-approved clinical supervisor. I love providing supervision and teaching, so I offer low and flexible rates for LMSWs and LPC-Is, including a sliding scale for those working full-time in nonprofits. I have six years of experience providing supervision to graduate students from the University of Texas at Austin, Texas State, and other universities. I firmly believe in strengths-based supervision and empowering supervisees.

If you are interested in supervision with me, please read over the information on this website on the types and modalities of therapy that I offer. We can set up a free call or free in-office meeting to talk about your supervision needs and determine if I would be the right supervisor for you.

For a sneak peek, here’s a bibliography of the generalist “textbooks” I’m most likely to use when teaching new therapists:

  • Bonnie Badenoch. Being a Brain-Wise Therapist.
  • John and Julie Gottman. Various.
  • Marsha Linehan. Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder and its associated skills training manual
  • Babette Rothschild. The Body Remembers, Volume 1 and 2.
  • Daniel Siegel. Various
  • Edward Teyber. Interpersonal Process in Psychotherapy. If you’re a new clinician looking for one book to teach you about psychotherapy, pick this one!
  • Margaret Wehrenberg. Various, especially Anxiety + Depression. Bessel Van der Kolk. The Body Keeps the Score
